A Poem about Courting Love.
How dubious, I tricked you, my sweetheart.
I said what I had to say and you played my part.
You said we’d never fall in love, you told me “no” a hundred times.
But with my words I spun a web, entrapping you with every line.
“I love you.” “I’m never going to let you go.”
It was no lie, but it was touching your soul.
But now you’re mine and that’s for all time.
What a man does for love and we’re feeling just fine.
All is fair to be Dubious in courting.
